"She Believes In Me" is a country pop song, recorded by American star singer Kenny Rogers on his very popular 1978 album The Gambler. The song was written by Steve Gibb (but not Steve Gibb,) and is the tale of a songwriter who has a beloved too good for him.
The song was a childhood favourite of Irish singer Ronan Keating, and he recorded it in 2004 as part of his Turn It On album. Rewriting the lyric a bit (hence getting some of the publishing royalties) and rearranging the title textually to "She Believes (In Me)", Keating reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart with his treatment. It was at most a modest hit elsewhere in Europe, placing in the Top 30 in three countries there.
